Quality Construction
Fed One, in collaboration with the Mark F. Taggart Company, developed and built the 80,000 SF Eastgate Business Center on a 6.5 acre lot. Located at 1801 – 1831 Deffenbaugh Court, construction on this project broke ground in October, 2014 and was completed in February, 2015.
The state of the art office-warehouse facility is located on the east side of Gahanna’s Office, Commerce, and Technology (OCT) District. Located south of Taylor Road and east of Taylor Station Road, the area houses many of the logistics, manufacturing, and distribution businesses in the city.
Unique real estate and infrastructure, as well as easy access to I-270, I-670 and I-70, make the Eastgate Industrial Center area conducive to industrial, office, and commercial use.

Fast Track Construction
Fed One made a commitment to our first tenant to have the building ready for occupying by the end of the year. We started clearing the heavily wooded site September 2. These arial photographs show what is possible with fast track construction. The 9/19 photo shows the site ready to start foundations. The hardwall erection was completed by 10/26 and the building was closed in by 11/29. The site was paved in December before the blacktop plants closed (12/26 photo). The tenant was able to start racking by the first week in January while we completed their office finish. Landscaping was completed in the spring.
